Quality standards for the Provider database

German educational institutions registered in iMOVE's Provider database are obligated to comply with these quality standards.

Criteria updated in May 2011
International Orientation
  • The educational institution demonstrates proof of international activity.

 

  • The educational institution ensures that internal organisational conditions are in place to accommodate international activities.

 

  • The international focus of the educational institution is clearly defined on its website.

 

  • Information, including an internet portal, is available in German and in at least one other language - English and/or the language of the target country.

 

  • To facilitate communication between the educational institution and international clients, English-speaking co-workers or co-workers fluent in the business language of the target country, are available.
Educational Institution

Quality Management

  • The institution and its co-workers possess a high degree of quality awareness which is reflected in an internal quality management system.

 

  • Principles for quality assurance and development are available in writing.

 

  • Evaluations are conducted in order to ensure the ongoing quality assurance of training offers. The learning success of training measures is monitored regularly; course evaluations are also conducted once the course has been completed. Training courses that are conducted numerous times undergo
    comprehensive evaluation at least once.

Companies

  • The educational institution's head offices and court of jurisdiction are in Germany.

 

  • The educational institution is not solely a consulting firm.

 

  • No bankruptcy, insolvency, or conciliation proceedings were filed against the company during the last five years, or were dismissed for lack of assets; no company liquidation has been filed in the commercial register.

 

  • All information and advertising materials, including websites and corresponding training measures, are truthful and do not give rise to any false expectations.
Offers
  • Offers of education and training are politically, religiously and ideologically neutral. 

 

  • Teaching and learning materials employed are current in terms of content, methodology and technology and are geared toward the needs of the target country.

 

  • It is guaranteed that the timeframe, course content and methodologies applied are proportionate to the learning goals, interests and possibilities of the client in the target country.

 

  • Current market developments and quality requirements in the target country concerned are taken into account by the educational institution when preparing its proposals; a high degree of practical relevance is guaranteed.

 

  • Offers of educational services are based on qualified curricula and schedules.

 

  • Course participants receive a certificate of attendance or a certificate as such, which includes the title of the course, the timeframe, number of instructional hours, and course location. A certificate also contains significant information about course content.

 

  • The cost of services is commensurate with the market and based on conditions in the target country.

 

  • Teaching staff has the professional, methodological, personal, social, linguistic and intercultural competence to carry out the proposed service in a client-oriented manner.
